Melbourne CBD is also rich in modern buildings and structures like this cool birdcage like bridge. I have shot here many times, and on most of my visits to Victoria's capital. I never tire of this as a fashion location, and manage to get interesting images every time.

Fashion Branding Campaign for Melbourne hand crafted Sebastianella Jewellery, with two of my favourite models.
Susan and Nella make up the team at SEBASTIANELLA, and these two women hand craft their dreams into special pieces of jewellery that not only compliment a fashion outfit, but make a statement of their own, and across all age groups.

Urban Swimwear Fashion shoot….. just adding water makes for cool image.
Swimwear shoots don't need to be shot on the beach, or in the studio, and for me adding water not only makes sense, it makes for great images. I've loved just adding water to many of my images, and here the combination of Anyth's gorgeous dark African skin and crystal clear water makes for images with that wow factor.

Urban Fashion Texture Story, shoes and all.
Love those sneaks on Camille's feet, and don't they belong in this wealth of texture. These were the first images we made on the day, before the clouds parted and the sun's filtered rays led to the images on my previous post. I love shooting women's Footwear, and Accessories on location and in a setting that accentuates how they stand out,... by fitting in.

Edgy Urban Fashion Shoot in my new location in Sydney.
Locations for a shoot often just materialise in the corner of my eye, as this one did. I was taking a slightly different route between locations when I took a little detour to check out an interesting looking building site, when this awesome concrete work of art jumped out at me. To make things even more interesting the clouds parted and we had just the great light I needed for our second shot, Camille then quickly changed as the sun came out to help get this totally different look.
This great background with it's richly textured ground is not anything that was planned, but just a result of the workers at this building site pouring the concrete the way they did. I doubt the final building will have the appeal that this wall has for me, I'm going back as soon as the workers take their sunday break, I only hope it will still be there and unchanged.

Fashion and Beauty shoots with Monique
While going through the images I've made with different models, I compiled this small retrospective of my shoots with one redhead, Monique Kathleen.
I'm finding it interesting recalling the work and great times we had creating the diverse range and variety we can see here. Although some were planned, the ones that are most satisfying turn out to be the ones born of opportunities that the gods threw at me. Because I see changes to plans as just that, opportunities.
One that springs to mind is a denim story we were in the middle of, and I saw behind my back a fast approaching storm. So do we race to change outfit, or race to another location close by to be ready for those raging clouds. I'm pleased with my choice to stay with what Monique was wearing, because as it turned out, there was no way to get back to the car, change, then get back.
Part of that denim story can be seen above, along with my fav storm shot at the top of this compilation. At times I think we might have made it to the car and changed into a gown, but I know that would not have happened.
Remember that old saying.."Man plans, God laughs " But in this case, I was tempted, but I made the right decision and we were rewarded with some powerfull images.
All in all an awesome afternoon's work, and it was a long drive back, because I couldn't wait to get amongst my images. Some of these images can be seen in older blogs, take a look.
Another great day at the Office.
